Zachary Gelmon
(RP-Q), a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
I’m Zachary Gelmon, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). For the past three years, I’ve worked with adults across Ontario navigating trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship challenges, porn & sex addiction and personal growth.
Since co-facilitating an ongoing men’s circle in 2023, I’ve developed a passion for supporting brothers, sons, fathers, and husbands. There’s a growing need for men to have a space where honesty, vulnerability, and imperfection are welcome – a place where it’s okay to be wrong, to change your mind, to gain new insight, to be challenged, supported, and to explore your deepest emotions and beliefs.
The aim of my practice is to help men show up in the world and in their relationships with greater connection to love, courage, compassion, and awareness.
I take an integrative approach to therapy because there’s no one-size-fits-all path to healing. Drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, art and music therapy, and strength-based practices, I tailor our work to fit your goals, personality, and pace. Together, we’ll find what makes therapy meaningful and effective for you.
My practice offers individual counselling and men’s circles (groups of 8–9).
I work with adults across Ontario navigating:
Anxiety, stress, and panic
Depression and low mood
Grief and loss
Life transitions and identity exploration
Men’s mental health & emotional expression
Creative blocks & existential questions
Trauma, PTSD, and childhood wounds
Low self-esteem, shame, and inner criticism
Relationship issues and communication struggles
Burnout & Work Performance

Absolutely. Therapy can play a crucial role in helping male survivors process past trauma and support recovery. Trauma can affect mental health, emotional regulation, self-worth, relationships, and daily life. Clients can work toward healing, reduce stress, and develop healthier coping strategies while moving at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
