Wild North is a Toronto-based psychotherapist offering an integrative, client-centered approach

Zachary Gelmon

(RP-Q), a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

I’m Zachary Gelmon, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). For the past three years, I’ve worked with adults across Ontario navigating trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship challenges, porn & sex addiction and personal growth.

Since co-facilitating an ongoing men’s circle in 2023, I’ve developed a passion for supporting brothers, sons, fathers, and husbands. There’s a growing need for men to have a space where honesty, vulnerability, and imperfection are welcome – a place where it’s okay to be wrong, to change your mind, to gain new insight, to be challenged, supported, and to explore your deepest emotions and beliefs.

The aim of my practice is to help men show up in the world and in their relationships with greater connection to love, courage, compassion, and awareness.

I take an integrative approach to therapy because there’s no one-size-fits-all path to healing. Drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS)somatic therapyart and music therapy, and strength-based practices, I tailor our work to fit your goals, personality, and pace. Together, we’ll find what makes therapy meaningful and effective for you.

My practice offers individual counselling and men’s circles (groups of 8–9).

My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, sex-positive, and welcoming of women, non-traditional relationships, and gender-diverse identities. I’m also a friend and ally to the BIPOC community, and I have experience working with clients from diverse cultural, racial, and ethnic backgrounds.
